Team Match Play Challenege (Captains Choice)
Format:
The Team Match Play Challenge format will be individual match play vs. a player of similar handicap from the other team. The President and Vice President are the captains and will choose the two teams from the list of people who sign up. The lowest handicap player from one team will compete against the lowest handicap from the other team. Second lowest vs. second lowest , third vs. third and so on down the line. All matches will be straight up (no handicap) unless there is more than 3 strokes difference in the handicaps, with the higher handicap player receiving 50% of the difference (for example if a 22 is playing an 18, the 22 would receive 2 strokes, taken on the #1 and #2 handicap holes). The team winning the most matches win the challenge and will receive double their entry fee.
Entry fee is the usual $15 dollars and each player on the winning team will earn $30.
There will be the usual gross and net skins, though it is match play all players must putt out every hole to qualify for a skin. There will be closest to the pins awards.
